Hello all! We are two moms of little ones who have a desire to build up an art community here in Wylie, TX!

Our passion is to develop, present and engage residents of the City of Wylie in artistic experiences and endeavors. We are committed to providing community outreach to enrich and develop awareness and appreciation of all art forms.

As we seek to grow, it is our vision to tie the community together through the arts. Children, young people, adults and seniors can meet to engage with groups of people who have similar interests — photography, painting, ceramics, creative writing, filmmaking, drama, music, crafts, etc.

In addition to arts exhibitions, special events, and performances, the Guild looks to offer art classes for all ages, including programs for children during summer and school vacations.

Please tell us what what we can do for you! We would love to make it happen and share in the excitement!

-Lily and Emily

Our Mission

We are here to create with other creators, make with other makers, & provide a community of art for all ages. Join us & help us bring art to our community!

Lily has been involved with Art her entire life. From an early age her mother saw her interest in Art and helped grow a love by getting her involved in as many artistic activities she could find. Lily went on to study art in college and wound up in Art Restoration. She worked at Fegan Fine Art and Restoration, in Dallas, TX while painting sets for community theaters in the DFW. She has taught students of all ages through programs such as "Art Think" and has also taught art through various summer camps and afterschool care programs throughout the metroplex. She now stays at home with her two girls while managing "The Lively Lily", a calligraphy and sign making business on Etsy, Facebook. and Instagram. Her passion is to develop an art community here in the Wylie area and help foster a love of the Arts in people's lives just as she had growing up.

Emily is a native of Des Moines, Iowa, and moved here to Wylie about two years ago with her family.  Emily studied art at the University of Iowa, where she earned a degree in Studio Arts and Art History, with an emphasis in drawing and printmaking.  After graduation, Emily did engraving for a fine jewelry store in Iowa City, and then went on to start her own painting/mural business in Des Moines.  Working to create wall art for others has allowed Emily to stay close to home with her three children.
